About Gioia Egloff
My name is Gioia and I am a student of English and German. But over all, I love to dance. I even started teaching dance a while ago. This made me curious about how other dance teachers work and what is important to them. Furthermore, I am very interested in dance therapy and physiotherapy as it combines dance with treatment for the body and the mind. Over all, it’s about dancing on a bigger scale: what it encompasses in every aspect, not only the dancing itself and choreographing, but teaching, learning and the influence of dance in other aspects of life (as a therapy and its physical influences). Interview en L’air allowed me to combine a lot of passions of mine: dance, writing, photography and talking to people. My articles are collection of thoughts, ideas, questions, answers and my own experimental pictures, of course! I might even include some philosophical reflections of mine, so beware! I’m kind of a Kantian.
